Jack & Jill Rules

This event is a monthly modified single elimination tournament. We want to be fair to all players in this event.
The following rules will be observed if you participate. 

1)   Teams will consist of one Male and one Female player with a maximum combined maximum skill level of 10. Your combined skill level may go up during the yearly cycle, but both players must start at a combine maximum of 10.

 

2)   Both players must play on any 23 skill level 8-ball team.

 

3)   During the yearly cycle the combined skill level can go as high as 12. If your team exceeds 12 the team must split into 2 teams. Both teams must be at a starting skill level of 10 and both teams will retain their total amount of points.

 

4)   When you play more than one month you must play out the yearly cycle and must comply with all rules of the "once a month" tournaments.

 

5)   If your team breaks up each member is responsible for their half of the fees to the end of the “tournament cycle”.

 

6)   You can find another partner and continue without penalty or you can makeup your half of the missing months (if any) and continue with another partner.

 

7)   Your new partner will be immediately vested and responsible for fees to the end of the tournament cycle.

 

8)   When a team breaks up and one partner continues with a different partner. The other partner will be responsible for their half of the money till the end of the tournament cycle even if they don’t play.

 

9)   Any player that drops from Jack & Jill, or has fees that are not current will be allowed to play with other league teams. However, the delinquent player will not be able to participate in any post session play, any cash tournaments, or any charity events.

10) Each team must play in a minimum of 5 monthly tournaments to be eligible for the final 8 Vegas tournament.

 

11) The 2011-2012 monthly point system will be as follows:

The winning team will receive 6 points.
The second place team will receive 4 points.
Any team that places 3rd or lower in the tournament will receive 2 points.
Any team that does not play will receive 1 point for paying their dues.
